The Miata diff is 40\" away from the bumper. Most floor jacks are going to have 20-24\" of reach (jack pad to lower handle). You have to get down to eye level with the diff line up jack; then you still have to go through the motion of doing \u003cstrong\u003e“micro-pumps”\u003c\/strong\u003e before the car is high enough to get any decent travel from the jack handle. This jackpoint tube eliminates those annoyances while keeping the visual footprint \u0026amp; bumper trimming minimal.
